Mere Green has some of the larger homes in the wider Sutton Coldfield area, with detached family houses predominating along Belwell Lane, Hill Village Road and the streets running up towards Little Aston. The plumbing work here reflects the scale of the properties — four- and five-bedroom homes with two or three bathrooms, which means system boilers and unvented cylinders rather than combis in most cases.
